DUBAI - May 07, 2008 - Business Systems Group (BSG), the regional competency center for Exactus Inc., announced today that Gulf Marketing Group (GMG) is currently implementing Aware, the leading supply chain solution from Exactus for one of its subsidiaries, Sun & Sand Sports (SSS), a leading retailer and wholesaler of sporting goods & lifestyle brands in the G.C.C.
BSG will implement Exactus' Warehouse management and Performance Management solutions at Sun & Sand Sports newest distribution center in JAFZA to help streamline and optimize their distribution operations. These solutions will enable Sun & Sand Sports to fully automate its distribution process, facilitate cross-docking, maximize labor resources and provide a continuous analysis of the overall performance of the distribution center operation.
These solutions from Exactus are being implemented based on customer specific business needs to streamline the operations for each of its business unit growth, support the implementation of automation technologies, and accommodate overall system transformation and modernization.
Sun & Sand Sports chose Exactus primarily because it offered a number of powerful pre-integrated and flexible supply chain solution components. Furthermore, not only do Exactus' solutions capably and reliably handle the most complex of supply chains, but additionally, the company's consultants had an unparalleled level of experience and expertise in the supply chain industry including, specifically, the retail industry.
